Messrs Turnbull, Martin, and Co. advise that the City of Evansdale has been fixed to load at New York for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Launceston, Burnie, .and Portland (Victoria), sailing for New Zealand about tho middle of December. The Otarama is to sail from No a 7 York at the end of December, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She will be followed about the middle of January by the Ashburton for New Zealand ports. KABETU FROM AUSTRALIA. Tho Union ' Company’s cargo vessel Karetn arrived in tho Lowcr_ Harbor early , this afternoon from Newcastle and Sydney. She was to come up to Dunedin this afternoon. She has a largo quantity of general cargo tor discharge. The Karetn is to sail to-mor-row lor Lyttelton, Oamaru, and Bluif. THE OLDTARAWERA. The old Tarawera, which has been partially dismantled at her moorings in the Lower Harbor, was brought up to tho dock at Port Chalmers yesterday afternoon for the removal of machinery and other heavy fittings.
