The executive of the Australian and New Zealand Council of Trade Unions resolved that evidence should be submitted to the Royal Commission on the constitution in support of adult sulrage carrying one vote, the present limitation of the life of Parliament not to be exceeded under any pretext, and no conscription for any military service. It also resolved that the High Court of Australia should he the final authority for Australia in all cases; that Parliament, as at present constituted, should bo abolished, ami that the Federal Parliament should bo empowered to deal with all industrial matters irrespective of State boundaries.
