POSITION OF MANAGER. [Special to the • Stak.’] AUCKLAND, November 24. The Thames Valiev llujibv Union lias nominated Dr E. Lawrence, of To Aroha, for the post of manager of the team for South Africa. Failing the acceptance of his nomination, it was decided to support the nomination of Mr H. Frost, chairman of tho Auckland Eugby Union. Dr Lawrence is president of tho Piako Rugby Union, and was recently elected president of tho newly-formed Thames Valley Tenuis Association. Ho is known throughout tho Thames Valley as a keen athletic enthsuiast and sportsman.
