THE COMING CHAMPIONSHIPS. SYDNEY, November 23. (Received November 24, at 1.30 a.m.) The ‘ Sun,’ commenting on the forthcoming Australasian Athletic Championships Meeting to bo held in New Zealand, says The talent available in New South Wales is of the highest class. The chief obstacle in the way seems to be the lack of funds. It is difficult to understand the paucity of public support of athletics, whiyh every other country in the world considers the leading attraction.” The Dunn Shield competitions, to be held on December 3 and 10, will,decide the selections for tho New Zealand trip.
