WE, the manufacturers of Army Club, make this unqualified statement in the interests both of ourselves and the public. We believe that the man in the street has every right to know what he is paying for when he buys his cigarettes. And we believe, as purchasers of the costliest and highest grade Virginia tobacco obtainable, that it is our duty to ourselves and our shareholders to inform the public that in Army Club alone among cigarettes at ten for ninepence is such quality of tobacco obtainable, and that the truth of this statement cannot be effectively challenged. Furthermore, we are able to give a definite assurance that this quality will be maintained in every Army Club sold, because we have already secured stocks of this same tobacco sufficient to last until April, 1929.
