BOYS DRIFT TO SEA
LAUNCH RESCUE JUST Hi TIME [l’eu United Puess Association.] WELLINGTON, November 14. Losing an oar, three boys drifted out to sea from Island Bay in a skiff with an off-shore wind, and were only caught by a launch in time to prevent a catastrophe. One boy dived overboard after the oar, but could not roach it, and only got back to the dinghy through having taken the precaution to tie himself to a fishing line. Two of them were very exhausted when rescued.
