At the wool sales there was a strong marketj with values equal to tho bestrates of the week. For all descriptions there was keen general competition, with an especially strong demand for shafty lleccc wools and liner descriptions suitable for the Continent Greasy merino fleece sold to 32d. BUTTER IN SYDNEY. WHOLESALE PRICE REDUCED. SYDNEY, November 9. The wholesale price of butter has been reduced by Id per lb to 186 s 8d per cwt.
