REDCASTLE CARNIVAL
Entering into the “straight” things generally get busy, and Itcdcastlc Carnival is no exception to the rule. Everybody scorns to appreciate the efforts necessary to make a success of the carnival, to be able to give the Christian Brothers at least what was originally' aimed at. Judging by the wholeheartedness and enthusiasm of one and all, it is likely' that this original amount will be exceeded. The crowds visiting the carnival are becoming even denser during this the last week, and amongst the stalls and games one cannot but remember the days of the old Exhibition, so lively are the merrymakers. In the theatre proper tile, entertainments are proving very popular, and tonight tho ‘Kids of tho Alley,’ by tho pupils of tho Otago School of Dancing, will be shown for the last time. In supjiort of this the Girl Guides are giving a programme which, besides'being entertaining, should be very instructive.
