YESTERDAY’S PARLIAMENT
HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES Replying to Air W. S- Glenn (Rangitikei), the Minister of Defence said he had no particulars of tho accident on tlio Foxton Beach, by Avhich a small boy was badly mutilated by the explosion of a shell; but lie would make inquiries. Replying to Air H. T. Armstrong, the Prime Minister said that if the Opticians Bill could not be gone on with this session, it ivould be proceeded Avith early next session. Two days’ leave of absence was granted to the Leader of the Opposition OAving to ill-health. The gaining amendment was discussed till 3 aim. The debate is reported elsewhere.
