RCOFIHG PROPOSAL <1 SPOUTS ALL YEAR ROUND. LONDON, August 17. (Received August 18, at 12.10 p.m.) The purchasers of 'Wembley arc credited with a grandiose scheme for roofing the entire arena and staging not only the Dog-racing Cup and the Association Football Cup 'final, but Rugby, baseball, tennis, and boxing, providing sports all through the year, day and night, regardless of the elements. The roof will be of sliding glass, planned with panels to afford ventilation. Artificial heating will be installed in winter time.—Sydney ‘ Sun ’ Cable.
