SOVIET RUSSIA
DISSENSION IN MOSCOW FIGHT FOR LENIN’S CROWN. Press Association- By Telegraph—Copyright,
LONDON, August 11. The most reliable interpretation of recent events in Moscow is probably that transmitted by tho correspondent of the ‘Bcrlinger Tagcblatt,’ who says; “Tho tight for Lenin’s crown will continue at present inside the Communist Party, but ou much more equal terms. Trotsky’s Party has been, heartened by success and reinforcements, and Stalin’s lias been correspondingly weakened. Trotsky is undoubtedly the abler of the two men, but Stalin, being the more moderate, will make a stronger appeal to the masses when the time conics, as it undoubtedly will, for the conflict to be carried on outside the party.”
