AN AUCKLAND SUGGESTION [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, July 20. A report by the executive of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce advocated a more general adoption of piecework and a greater elasticity in awards to meet the varying conditions. The artificial stabilisation of wages bad hampered a recovery from the periods of depression, and had increased unemployment While not suggesting the abolition of the court, the chamber thought it might bo better if it were composed of three independent members, one an wages should be fixed as would actually economist, and that Midi minimum be exceeded in norma! times. The report was adopted as the united platform of the chamber.
