DEFICIENCY 16,000 [Pei United Peess Association.] INVERCARGILL, June 22. At the Police Coure Gordon Brown, a bankrupt land agent, pleaded guilty to failing to keep proper books, also to contracting debts without reasonable expectation of being able to pay same. Counsel that bankrupt’s deficiency was about £16,000. Accused was committed for sentence at Dunedin.
