Ormond had inquiries regarding Rascal from a West Australian buyer who had previously purchased laradidlo from the Hawke’s Bay sportsman. Rascal, however, was sold last week to the Riccarton trainer F. PClaridgo on behalf of Mr Durio, or Christchurch. Among the horses in tho money at the Great Northern Mooting likely to face tho starter at Trentham are Master Doon, Kamchnmeha, _ and Rahepoto D. P. Moraghan’s pair, Master Doon and Kamehameha, aro in splendid trim at present. Commendation is going great guns at Groonmeadows, and George Jones has the champion in iino fettle for the Sydney iannt in August.
