DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE,
Bank of New Zealands had buyers at 60s 6d, with a seller at 61s. Nationals had a buyer at £7 2s 6d, with a seller at £7 3s 6d. South British continued to firm up, buyers offering 575. Huddart, Barkers were wanted at 475, with a seller at 47s 9d. P. and 0. Deferred Stocks were offered at £291, without attracting a buyer. Wcstport-Stocktons _ (pref.) had a buyer at 2s 6d, with a seller at 3s 6d. Dalgetys (new issue) had a buyer at 6ui 6d prem., with a seller at 70s prein. National Mortgages were wanted at 60s. New Zealand Refrigeratings were inclined to be a little firmer, buyers offering 14s _ 3d, with no seller under 15s 3d. Dominion Rubbers were offered at 41s 6cl. Milburn Lime and Cements (old issue) were wanted at 26s 9d. National Electrics were offered at 14s, without attracting a buyer. It is understood that there will bo no interim dividend paid this year. Staples’ Brewerys were again offered at 39s 6cl, without a buyer offering, and for the mining section there was a sale reported in Kawaraus at 2s 6d, the market closing with a buyer at 2s 6d and a seller at 2s 6d. Mount Isas were wanted at 24s 6d. Natural Bridges had a seller at par. Molyneux Electrics had a sharp rise with a seller at 255, the market closing with a buyer at 21s, and no seller under 255. The market would indicate that the prospects are good, but no official information has come to hand. Upper Nevis were wanted at 21s, with a seller at 22s 6d. There was still a good demand for New Zealand Government loans. Sale Reported.—Kawarau, 2s 6d. Sale on ’Change.—Molyneux Electric, 21s.
