SYDNEY, June 14. Representatives of the big picture film distributors applied to the Acting Chief Justice in tbcHigh Court Chambers to-day for an injunction restraining the State Government from levying and collecting a tax on the exhibition of picture films. A declaration is also sought that the Act under which the tax is collected is invalid. The matter was allowed to stand oyer until to-morrow to enable counsel lor the Government to confer with the At torney-Ge nera I.
