(Received May ]O, at 10.30 a.m.) A message from New Orleans states that the crisis of the Mississippi Hoods is expected on Wednesday, when the engineers expect the levee to break at Big Bend. They arc doing everything possible to reinforce the levee, but they fear that there is little chance of averting a break. The Red Cross relief subscriptions now total 7,500,000 dollars.
