LONDON, May 8. The Riga correspondent of 1 The Times ’ states that the Ukrainian Soviet Government has ordered the closing of the Roman_ Catholic, Jewish, and Orthodox Russian chapels, which will be converted into clubs for the workers. Many places are collecting funds for tho rebuilding of churches. Fifty high church dignitaries, who arc followers of Archbishop Tikhon, have been arrested for endeavoring to proclaim a new patriach.— ‘ The limes.’
