TO-DAY'S CASH PRICES The guide gives the prices in th« City shops to-day. Eggs are selling at 3s 3d and 3s td, and preserved at 2s 3d. Meat prices are:—Mutton, 2fd to 7d lb; beef, 2Jd to 7d lb; corned beef, 4|d to 8d lb; lamb, 7d to 9d lb; pork, Is !b; mince, 4d lb. Prices for fish are:—Groper, lOd per lb; kingfish, lOd per lb; blue cod, Is per lb; red cod, 6d per lb; soles, from 3d each; flounders, from 4d each; trevalli, 6ci lb; smoked blue cod, 1s 3d lb; smoked ’couta, Is each; smoked red cod, from 4d each; oysters, Is 6d per pottle. , Fruit prices are:—Pears (dessert), 4d and 6d lb; Sunkist oranges, 6d each; bananas, 8 for Is; peaches, fid and Is lb; cooking peaches, 6d lb; Cox’s apples (new season’s), 6d lb, Sib for 1* 3d; grape fruit, 6d, each; Tahiti oranges, 4 for 1s; hothouse grapes, 2s lb; plums—cooking, 4d lb; dessert, 6d lb.
