A NEW THEATRE
■ ■ FULLER FIRM'S LATEST PURCHASE [Pee United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, April 1. Sir Benjamin .Fuller has concluded negotiations for the purchase of afreehold property on the eastern siue of Queen street now occupied by the Tonson, Garlick Company for £IOO,OOO, and will erect thereon a theatre similar to St. James Theatre, Sydney, at a cost oT £BO,OOO. Ho says it will provide not only for vaudeville but all theatrical requirements. The property is a short distance from Fullers’ Operahouse, which was gutted by fire. The property acquired has a frontage of 83ft to 'Queen street and 95ft to Lome street, with a depth of J6sft. It is hoped to have the new theatre built and opened at Christman*
