BOTTLE OF WHISKY FEELING [Pun United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, March 3J In the Magistrate’s Court, Lawrence, Patrick M'Cnrthy, aged twenty-five, pleaded guilty to drunkenness, w> smashing two plate-glass windows A* Sumner, valued at £SO, and to breach of the terms of his probation. Counsel said no excuse could be offered. Tho m r an had drunk a bottl® of whisky, and had the feeling that he wanted t$ break things. For drunkenness lie was fined 10s, in default twenty-four hours; for breaking the windows he was sentenced U* three months’ hard labor; and lor breach of probation to throe months, the terms to be concurrent.
