GOOD FINISH TO SERIES [Psu United Press Association.] TTMARU, March 31. The final wool sale of the season was held this morning, when a small catalogue of 1,192 bales was offered to a small bench of buyers, The wool offered was chiefly from the back country and oddments. Competition was not keen, though Bradford and the Continent secured the finer lots of merinos and half-breds at good prices. Half-breds showed an advance of IJd on the February sale, but the market generally was firm. The following is the range of prices:— Merino.—Super. 20|d to 22d; average, 18]d to 20d; inferior, 15Jd to 17|d. • Half-bred. —Super., 20$d to 22-)d; average, 18d to 19|d; inferior, 15|d to 17jd. Three-quarter-bred.—Super., 16]d to 17Jd; average, 15Jd to 16Jd; inferior, 12|d to 15d. Corriedale, lojd to 18Jd. Cross-bred.—Average, 12|d to 14|d; inferior, lid to 12Jd. Pieces.—Half-bred—good to super. 16d to 18d, fair to medium lid to 14d: merino—good to super., 17d to li’ijd, fair to medium 14d to 16d. Three-quarter-bred, 9Jd to 12Jd: stained, 7Jd to 7£d. Bellies.—Merino, 14Jd to 15d; halfbred, 9d to 13id. Locks.—Merino, lOd to lid; halfbred, B]d to 9Jd. Necks.—Merino, up to 16|d; Corriedale, up to 15Jd. Crutchings.—Merino, up to 12Jd; three-quarter-bred, up to 9Jd; halfbred, up to IGJd; black wool, up to 12^cl; dead—first 12d to 14£d, second 8d to lOd.
