VIENNA INSURANCE CASE AMPUTATED LEG DISCOVERED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, March 29, The ‘ Daily Mail’s ’ Vienna correspondent states that Marek's amputated leg has been discovered preserved in chemicals. Marek reproduced the alleged attack upon himself. Squatting on the door of the court, ho took an axe and demonstrated how the blow fell. He persisted that he only felt frightful agony. He screamed and fainted. The evidence disclosed that the incident occurred the morning after Marek had paid the first instalment of the annual premium of £2OO against accident, and his wife presented the claim the following morning. Marek professed passionate love for-his wife. Tim prosecution is seeking to prove wealth which he intended to share with her after his recovery.—Sydney ‘ Sun' Cable.-
