FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA
MR HINKLER’S PREPARATIONS

LONDON, March 28. (Received March 29, at 12.20 p.m.) The try-out of Mr Bert Hinkler’s Avroavian, which will be used for his Australian flight, starts at 5 o’clock tomorrow morning, from the Croydon aerodrome. He will attempt a record light plane flight of 1,046 miles, the circuit being Wexford, Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Norwich, and Lympue, returning to Croydon at 5 o’clock in the evening.
