The proceedings are in camera. MEN TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS. SYDNEY, March 29. (Received March 29, at 10.40 a.m.) The conference between the representatives of the Miners’ Federation and the deputies’ organisation, concerning the dispute at the Maitland coalfield, failed to reach an agreement. A meeting of the men to-day will put before tho Acting _ Minister of Mines (Mr C. C. Lazzarini) some proposals for a settlement.
