CHILDREN’S HOUSE PARTY ARRANGEMENTS FOR EASTER. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, March 28. The Queen is arranging a children’s house party at Windsor at Easter, in view of Princess Elizabeth’s presence in the Household. Tho King and Queen will go to Windsor on Saturday, accompanied by Princess Elizabeth, and Princess Mary’s sons, George and Gerald, will join them early in April. Nurseries have been prepared in the castle for the children, who will bring their own toys and pets. Tho Queen is specially supervising the whole scheme.
One of the pleasures of the elder children will ho to join in the Queen’s daffodil-picking parties. The Queen, visiting Windsor in wartime, noticed the daffodils running to waste, and she said to the ladies of tho Household: “ Let us pick them for tho wounded.” The daffodil parties have been continued ever since on behalf of the London hospitals. After the Windsor trip Princess Elizabetli will go to Lady Strathmore.
