A “GOOD HAUL”

BURGLAR GETS £259 [Per United Press Association.) ASHBURTON, March 28. A good haul was made .by a burglar on Saturday night, when about £250 in notes and other currency was stolen from the residence of Mr G. Rookc. The money was in a cash box in a drawer in his bedroom. Entrance was gained through the kitchen window, which was prised open. The bedroom door, the drawer, and the cash box, all of which were locked, were forced open, tho cash box being emptied and left in the house. The family were absent at the time.
