CHRISTMAS CHEER
GIFTS FROM NEW ZEALAND Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, December 19. (Received December 20, at 10 a.m.) The New Zealand Meat Board is spreading throughout Britain the Christmas cheer which New Zealanders have ordered to bo sent to friends. Two thousand five hundred amd sixty carcasses of lamb have been sent to various parts, including the Shetland Islands, Lands End, and the Channel Islands. Each gift is packed in hessian at the London docks, amd will be delivered at the home of the recipient by the 23rd inst. The Butter Board is posting 1,500 cartons of butter in 41b, 81b, and 121 b lots. This practice has grown considerably since 1924, and traders admit that it is a happy idea to advertise the products extensively and cheaply.
