A LABORER’S DEATH. William Alfred Algar, a laborer aged forty-seven, single, was found dead hanging from tho rafters at an office near his whare late yesterday afternoon. Tho deceased was suffering from an internal trouble, and was discharged from the hospital about a fortnight ago. He told a friend yesterday that ho would be better dead than the way he was. FOUND IN THE AVON, The body of Frederick Bryerton, aged sixty-seven, a widower, was found in the Ayon River (Christchurch) this morning. Deceased, a gardener,_ had been employed in the St. Elmo Private Hotel.—Press Association.
