WATERSIDE WORKERS’ ESCAPE. ADELAIDE, August 6. Tho foremast of the steamer' Kapara crashed to the deck while a railway truck weighing about six tons was being loaded to-day. Two waterside workers had narrow escapes from injury. One sat unharmed at tho winch, while derricks and other gear fell about him. Another jumped overboard into tho river just before the mast struck the spot where he had been standing Tho mast, which was 35ft high, buckled 10ft above the deck through the forestay breaking*
