Bray Bros., Ltd., ■ report as-follows for week ended to-day:—■ Supplies of chaff are about equal to the demand, and values are steady at recent rates. Good quality oaten sheaf is worth up to £6 ton, on trucks, and round about £7 15s, f.0.b., s.i., has been obtained lor small parcels. _ The, oat market is still slow, very litttlo business passing. A’s wore on offer round about 4s bushed, aud B’s 3s 9d, f.0.b., s.i. The milling wheat markeL continues firm, and up to 7s 9d is lining offered for Tuscan, but there is no great quantity offering. Fowl wheat is in short supply, very Tittle being offered from Canterbury, aud it is worth up to 7s 6d bushel. Millers’ prices are as follows:—Flour, £l9 Iss; bran, £8 10s; pollard, £lO 10s; oatmeal, £24. There is an advance of £1 per ton in pollard during the week. The potato market is a little easier. Best lines are worth up to £7 on the local market. A fair quantity of potatoes is still offered from Canterbury. Some ol those have been rejected from shipmate. Tho onion market has firmed up. Cantcrburys are now about finished, and Japanese and Canadian onions are on the market. Everything points to the market keeping steady. Business _in the fruit marts has bqcn quiet during the week. A shipment of Australian fruit arrived, principally oranges and lemons. Some of the lines were in bad order, but the fruit came on to a. hare market, and is now offering at reasonable prices. Apples arc still offering freolv, and prices arc low. Bananas are ‘in short supply, and everything points to tho market keeping firm. There ’is a steady demand for good lines of vegetables. Cauliflowers are now more plentiful, but parsnips and cabbages have been in oyer supply. Other" vegetables arc offering freely, and prices are reasonable. The egg market i.s easy, case eggs seling- at Is 7d, and guaranteed stamped at Is 9d. Honey is still offering, and meeting with fair sales at SRI lb. Beeswax as wanted. Hams and bacon are in good supply, and the market steady. The following prices were realised during the week:—

Hnms, Is 4Jd. Butter.—Dairy pats, to Is 3d; bulk, Is 5d ; factory pats, Is 61-d. Swede turnips, to 3s. Onions.—Canterbury, 13s cwt; pickline , hi 14s tin. Potatoes.—Outram and Stirling, £7; Canterbury and Oamaru, £6 10s to £7. Brussels sprouts, to 5d lb. Cabbages, to 4s bag. Cauliflowers,-3s to 12s down. Eggs.—Stamped, Is 9d; cased, Is 7d; preserved. Is 4d. ■ Carrots, to 6s cwt. Parsnips, to ss. Beeswax, to Is 3d. Pigs.—Best porkers, to 8d; baeoners, to 7jd; overweight, to scl lb. Apples.—Delicious, to 11s; other desserts, to 7s case; choice cookers, to Gs; other cookers, to 4s 6d. Tomatoes.—Local, 2s. Bananas.—Ripe, 355; _ green llarotongas, to 245; green Fiji, 255.
