DISPOSAL OF WHEAT
AMERICA AMD CANADA ’ PLANS FOR CO-OPERATION. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. OTTAWA, August 2. A message from Winnipeg states that Mr A. Scott, secretary of tho North Dakota Grain Growers’ Association, and temporarily of tho world wheat pool, has notified Winnipeg wheat men that the Pooh Committee will meet here on August 1, 1923, to discuss plans for complete co-operation _ between the different member bodies in marketing tho Canadian and American wheat surplus.
■ The committee consists of six men—three Canadians, representing the Manitoba and Saskatchewan pools and the general sales agency of the Canadian co-operatives, and three Americans, representing the North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Kansas City Wheat Growers’ Associations. Mr W. Jackman, director of tho Alberta peel, has been commissioned to go to Argentina early in September to investigate the possibilities of forming an Argentina wheat pool and arrange for wheat crop reports for Canada.—A. and N.Z.'
