ALLEGED JEWEL THEFTS

LONDON, July 21. Edward Russell Watts, who is on remind on a. charge of stealing a £14,OC- 1 pearl necklace from a Regent street jeweller, was further charged today with the theft of a £1,050 pearl necklace, and a £165 diamond brooch, and with fraudulently using a diamond pendant belonging to a Mrs Kensington. For the prosecution it was stated ; * * ’» wno was an Estonian, to assrsr in the importation of goods. Ho mot her in London after her marriage, and asked for a loan of the pendant, which he had given her ns a wedding present. On it he raised £2OO from a hanker, and later used Mrs Kensington’s husband’s name to obtain the necklace wad, brooch, >raa remanded.
