TRIAL MATCHES. Tho weekly meeting of the Otago Ladies’ Hockey Association was held on Monday night, when there were present:—Mrs R. Hudson (in the chair;, Mrs G. A. Nelson, Misses CampbcL. i Anderson, Brockic, and Hill. A letter was received from South I Otago Sub-association inviting a team I to play at Balclutha. It was decided that the South Otago representative team be asked to play a match in Dunedin on August 14, and that an Otago representative team be scut to Bal- , clutlia on August 28. ■ The Vincent Sub-association wrote ad- | vising that it would bold its annual six-a-sido tournament on August 14 at Clyde. Any club wishing to enter a team may obtain further particulars from the secretary.
