(Received June 14, at 11.50 a.m.) The Whale William Coresby, manned by a crew of thirty-three, including Edmund Semper, who was formerly associated with Shackleton’s and Peary’s Polar expeditions, is departing from Hull on a South Pole scientific expedition, which the Falkland Islands Government is financing.—Sydney ‘ Sun ’ Cable.
