BRAZIL AND SPAIN WITHDRAW GERMANY’S ENTRY CERTAIN. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright GENEVA, June 12. News has been received that Brazil and Sjiain have withdrawn. Germany’s entry into the League is regarded as certain in September. The ‘ Sunday Express’s ’ diplomatic correspondent suggests that Spain’s secession from the League is not unconnected with Morocco. The Secretariat has published Brazil's Note saying that she resigned from the Council because she is of the opinion that the League has entirely come under European influences and the domination of the big Pow6rs ; and is not directed by any American ideal. —A. and N.Z. Cable. MARITIME CONVENTION. AUSTRALTA’S ATTITUDE. GENEVA, June 12. The Commonwealth Government of Australia has notified the League Maritime Conforeuco that it is doubtful whether the moment will arrive when the time of the Labor Office can usefully bo taken up in considering r.uch a project as a codification of seamen’s articles.
