COMMUNICATION WITH AUSTRALIA QUESTIONS IN COMMONS. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, June 8. . In the House of Commons Sir A. H. M. Sinclair asked whether the offer of Mr E. T. Fisk (manager of Amalgamated Wireless, Ltd.) to conduct twoway wireless telephony tests had been accepted, and if not, why notP The Postmaster-General (Sir W. Mit-chell-Thompson) replied: “I have communicated with the Australian authorities, and I understand that the Australian Amalgamated Wireless Company has not a station capable of undertaking radio-telephonic _ transmission. Therefore the experiments are impracticable. The company offered to receive and record the strength of experimental transmissions from Rugby. I welcomed the offer, but unfortimnatoly these tests have been suspended owing to the coal troubles.’'—A. and N. Cable.
