EARLY SETTLERS
MEETING OF COMMITTEE Mr W. Nicolson presided at a meeting of the committee of the Otago Early Settlers’ Association. M’Millan, Duke street, Into Milton (92), 1861: Robert Cowie, St. Clair, late Wnitanuna (78), Pladda, 1860; Thos. Adam, Waiholn (91 ), Strathmore, 1856; Mrs Benjamin Wildey, Oaversham (85), Pladda, 1861; Vvm. Dunlop, Pino Bush, Southland, Jane Lockhart, 1864; John Finlayson, Mornington (SO), Glennrk, 1864; Mrs John Laing, Howe street (79), arrived 1862.
The following early settlers were enrolled The Rev. John Walker, the Manse, Ballarat, Australia, arrived Otago, 1855; Mrs James Murison, 585 George street, -Hazeldoan to Lyttelton, 1864—t0 Otago same year/ Six descendants were also enrolled.
