MEETING OF COMMITTEE Mr W. Nicolson presided at a meeting of the committee of the Otago Early Settlers’ Association. Monro, Wellington to Otago, Deborah. 1844; Mrs Drinkwater, Sydney, large framed picture of early Dunedin, painted by her late father, David Henderson, 1865; Sir Undo Ferguson, panorama folder early Dunedin,; 1 George Crow, Dunedin, very old racing bicycle, as used about 1880; Miss Strang, Mdsgiel, framed portrait of her brother, David Strain, and William Hay, Ajax, 1849. The following deaths were reported;—Mrs Brocldcbank, Cumberland street (05), 1863; Mrs W. J. Hodgkins, Wellington, Into Dunedin (89), Aldinga, 1861; John Little, Omihi, Canterbury, Strathfieldsayo, 1858; Airs Janet Kennnrd, Palmerston 1 (75), Pladda., 1862; William Souter, Waikouaiti (91), Silistrin, 1860; William Young, Wnitati (84), Jura, 1862: Mrs W. M’Millan, Duke street, Into Milton (92), 1861: Robert Cowie, St. Clair, late Wnitanuna (78), Pladda, 1860; Thos. Adam, Waiholn (91 ), Strathmore, 1856; Mrs Benjamin Wildey, Oaversham (85), Pladda, 1861; Vvm. Dunlop, Pino Bush, Southland, Jane Lockhart, 1864; John Finlayson, Mornington (SO), Glennrk, 1864; Mrs John Laing, Howe street (79), arrived 1862.

The following early settlers were enrolled The Rev. John Walker, the Manse, Ballarat, Australia, arrived Otago, 1855; Mrs James Murison, 585 George street, -Hazeldoan to Lyttelton, 1864—t0 Otago same year/ Six descendants were also enrolled.
