The policy of the Exhibition authorities is “Give the public the best, and plenty of it.’’ This apfflfcs particularly to matters musical, ami in pursuance of that policy arrangements nare been made for the Exhibition Orchestra to piny on certain days in certain pavilions. This afternoon they played to a large and appreciative, audience in No. fi building. They play again pn "Wednesday afternoon, while on Thursday they will take their stands to the Southland Court. The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders’ Baud meantime rendered the programmes duly set down, and, it need hardly be said, were listened to as intently and applauded ns warmly as jpvcr. Time cannot wither the crowds around “the band,” nor custom stale jiheir appreciation.
