Merry and Bright

Another Big Crowd Saturday

“Breezy” The Word To-day

Additional Musical Attractions

A big crowd and a happy one saw the sights at Logan park on Saturday. The carnival spirit was at its height, and, though twice previously exceeded so far as numbers go, the attendance (27,036) was a highly satisfactory one. Dunedin folk are making Saturday pilgrimages to “The Exer” a habit; and a'very good habit it is.

Not a groat many people " blew '* in through the gates in the earlier part of to-day. The southerly which took charge when the sun rose this morning tested the bunting on the flagpoles, and only Wellington visitors were able to keep their headgear in place. But the sun shone brightly, and all was snug in the buildings. The Exhibition Orchestra played in No, 6 building this afternoon as an additional musical attraction.
