SALES OF WORK
'—- ST. MICHAEL'S, ANDERSON BAY A large assortment of goods awaited purchasers when a sale of work was opened this afternoon in the Y.W.C.A. Hall. Tlie proceeds will be put to the fit. Michael and All Angels’ Guild fuud. During the afternoon a largo attendance was attracted to the hall, and a brisk trade was done. The following are the stallholders. — Guild.—Mesdamos Gall, Clatworthy, and Barrett. Art. —Mi - s Fenton, Misses M'Naught and Heatley. Produce. —Mosda.mes Hutchcon and Etheridge. Cake. —Mesclames Atkin and M'Gouri. Sweets. —Mesdames Harrison and Smith, Miss M. M'Adam. Tea Rooms.—Mesdames Barnes, Lee. and Marshall, Misses Barrett ana Staples. The sale will reopen this evening, when musical items will be given by Mr and Mrs Arthur Gard’ner, Mrs Gale, Miss Hayward, and Mr CachomailJc. The sale will also bo open to-morrow afternoon and evening. Mr Pritchard (ventriloquist) will be present at night.
