RUGBY. The final Rugby match of the season will be played at Carisbrook, where the Star team, premiers of Invercargill, and the Pirates team, premiers of Dunedin, will meet in competition for the Deacon Cup. As a curtain-raiser, the final for the fifth -grade, between Alhambra and Pirates, will he replayed. SOCCER. What promises to be the most exciting match of the season will take place on the Caledonian Ground, where Seacliff and Northern will meet in the final of the first grade A division competition. Both teams are noted for their clever footwork and tactics, ami the match should provide a fast, open display of football. The semi-final of the knock-out competition, High School Old Boys v. Mornington, will be played as a curtain-raiser, starting at 1.30. This match should also prove close and interesting. The Tramway Band will be in attendance from 2.80.
