The National Mortgage and Agency Co., Ltd., has received the following cable from London -Rutter: Market firm; sailed. 2025; unsaltcd, 20 is. Cheese: Market steady; 103 s. GRAIN AND PRODUCE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report as follows: —■ Oats.—Very few samples are offering, and the demand is. slightly better. The nominal value of A grade is ds Gd nor bushel (on trucks). Wheat.—The quantity of fowl wneat offering is sufficient to fill the demand, and good whole quality is saleable at 7s 3(f per bushel (ex truck). There is a good inquiry for milling quality. Potatoes.—Bad weather lias held consignments hack, and the market is short 0 of supplies of choice quality tables. Prime tables are realising up to £8 10s per inn (ex truck). Chaff.—A fair quantity of prime oaten sheaf is now coming forward, and is meeting with a, fair demand at quotations. Medium and inferior quality is in over supply, and is slow of sale. Wo quote: Prime oaten sheaf, £5 10s; medium and inferior. £3 10s to £4 10s per ton (sacks extra).
