PUBLICATIONS RECEIVED

The press being a mighty vehicle of advertising, tho New Zealand Government Publicity Office took the opportunity when tho Empire Press Conference delegates were in the dominion, on their way to Australia, of presenting to each delegate a souvenir illustrated booklet setting out New Zealand’s tourist attractions, primary and secondary industries, and Government activities. There is also a short resume of the history of the dominion and a brief article'on New Zealand newspapers. The souvenir is handsomely bound in leather and gold, and is not too bulky. The recipient’s name was embossed on the copy presented. The Publicity Office is to be congratulated on its initiative in preparing such an attractive booklet.
