THE BIG EXHIBITION

STATE FORESTRY DISPLAY [Special to the ‘Star.’] WELLINGTON, September 11. A State Forestry vote of £I,OOO for clisplav at the Noe' Zealand and South Peas Exhibition was noted during consideration of the Forestry Estimates tonight by Mr Forbes, who asked Sir Heaton Rhodes what was being done. The Minister replied that every State department was contributing, and it had been decided to make a displayworthy of the Forestry Service. They would show native timbers and exotica, and it was quite possible that there would be an exhibit showing the method of conserving our timbers, which would be of educative value.
