At the wool sales the market was firm, without any appreciable change for the finer grades. The recent improvement in skirtings was maintained, but unskirted lines were in limited request. Cross-breds were firm. Greasy merino sold to 2Sd. LONDON WHEAT MARKET. LONDON, August 18. Wheat cargoes are dull, and prices are nominally unchanged. A sale was made ex the King Dwal at 68s.
