A sale of work in aid of funds for the soldiers’ memorial window to be erected in St. Paul’s Cathedral was opened yesterday afternoon in the Burns Hall. An entertainment was provided j last evening by Mr Arthur Gard’ncr, and Mrs Williams, and a concert has been arranged for to-night by Mr > Ernest Drake. There was a fairly good attendance! at the “ Cake and Apron Fair ” held in the Methodist School Room, Morn- | ington, last night. The Christmas tree ! was laden with all manner oF novel- 1 ties.
