EUROPEAN SECURITY PACT PRESIDENT GOOLIDGE'S VIEWS Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. VANCOUVER, July 23. A message from Swampscott, the Massachusetts watering place, where Air Cooliclgo is taking a holiday, states that the President is of opinion that the consummation oi a European Security Pact would lay the foundation for further disarmament. —A. and N.Z. Cable. PLANS FOP ANOTHER CONFERENCE. VANCOUVER, July 23. Published reports that the President has abandoned hope of another Armament Conference are denied at the summer “White House” at Swampscott, although it is pointed out that the conditions in Europe are not yet propitious for initiating a definite move for a conference. In the meantime there is no change in the status of the proposal, which so far is confined to rather indefinite preliminary suggestions from the Administration, but Mr Coolidgo will make an effort to have a conference called whenever there appears to be a likelihood of a successful termination.—Renter.
