(Received April 28, at 11 a.m.) The memory of the Anzacs was celebrated in solemn silence at a luncheon at the Australian and New Zealand) Chib at the Hotel Cecil, at which Lord Jellicoe was the principal guest. Sir James Allen, who presided, referred to his impending departure for Gallipoli to unveil a monument to the New Zealanders. Lord Jellicoe said that the children of New Zealand were being brought up to regard Anzac Day as a day of self-sacrifice, which was a spirit much needed throughout the Empire to-day. He concluded by declaring that April 25, 191.5, was the day upon which the unity of the Empire was *■ ['' ieve:!.—Reuter.
