(Received April 28, at 11 a.m.) Mr Dobbie, president of the National Union of Railwayman, speaking at Hacknev, predicted an early crisis and a situation unparalleled in 'the railway world. He said the men would present to the companies tho biggest programme of minimum conditions ever demanded, includwg all the workers of Great Britain. He further predicted that tho companies would reject the programme. The companies, ho said, complained that they would have to pay dividends out of their reserve funds, but it was belter to pay wages out of reserve than to pay dividends to those who do not work.—Reuter.
